Why purchase books through Theocat?
Firstly, Theocat is a comprehensive theological catalogue specifically designed for theological schools and churches worldwide. It incorporates recommended theological reading from the finest theologians and theological seminaries, thus offering excellent theological resources. But perhaps the most significant reason for purchasing theological books through Theocat is that we provide financial assistance for the training and equipping of ministers and pastors in Southern Africa. Furthermore, we support the sustainable development projects in Eastern Africa undertaken by the Africa Fund who also provide micro loans to rural entrepreneurs as well as providing emergency relief. When purchasing your books through the theological catalogue you are making a contribution to the above with no additional cost to yourself.

Why does Theocat not sell mainstream Christian literature?
Theocat is a theological catalogue that catalogues books that are usually not found in most Christian bookstores. The theological catalogue primarily exists to help theological students, professors, church leaders and those interested in exploring the depths of Christian theology.
Does Theocat work towards a particular Christian spirituality, such as 'Truly Reformed', Pentecostal, Charismatic, Liberalism, Emerging Church etc.?
No, we don't work towards a particular form of Christian spirituality. However, we are evangelical and we most certainty and unashamedly do work towards promoting a high view of Scripture. We believe that Scripture is the divinely inspired Word of God and that it is inerrant and infallible. We also believe that all Christian theology must be studied under the full council of God in the Holy Scriptures. It is the ultimate authority for Christian doctrine and living.
